Biography

Benni was born and raised in Munich, Germany, where he obtained his B. Sc. in chemistry from the Ludwig-Maximilians University. He already met David during his Bachelor's thesis in the group of Prof. Dirk Trauner, where he was working on the total synthesis of dendrobine and helped to synthesized 5-Deoxymubironine C (better known as BENdrobin). During his Master's studies, he gathered experience in the fields of energetic materials as well as organometallic chemistry and he is excited to join the Konrad group to work on anticancer drug as part of his Master's thesis. In his free time, Benni enjoys going out with friends and cooking.
