Biography

Mari was born and raised in Munich, Germany, where she performed her Bachelor’s thesis in the field of bioinorganic chemistry in the group of Prof. Dr. Lena Daumann, at the Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU). During her Master’s studies, she pursued an internship in the group of Prof. Dr. Konstantin Karaghiosoff, where she gained a deeper insight into different fluoromethylating agents. She gained experience in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry through an internship in the group of Prof. Dr. Franz Bracher, which strengthened her interest in the study of various pharmaceuticals. She is excited to join the Konrad group to work on anticancer drugs as part of her research internship. During her free time, she enjoys reading comics, gaming, and drinking excessive amounts of coffee.
