Constantin was born in Luxembourg City and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. He moved to Munich to study chemistry at the Ludwig Maximilian University, were he performed his Bachelor’s thesis in the field of organometallic chemistry in the group of Prof. Dr. Paul Knochel. During his Master’s studies, he pursued an internship in the group of Prof. Dr. Thomas Magauer at the Leopold-Franzens University in Innsbruck, Austria to hone his skills in synthetic organic chemistry by working on the synthesis of a natural product. He returned to the LMU to perform his Master’s thesis in the Group of Dr. Dorian Didier focusing on electroorganic synthesis. Intrigued by the premise to apply synthetic organic chemistry to solve biological problems, he joined the Konrad group to work on the development of novel anticancer drugs. Besides chemistry, he likes to go to the mountains and explore nature.
