Helene is born and raised in Munich as the youngest of seven sisters. She started studying medicine in 2017 at the LMU Munich and continued her studies at the TU Munich after passing herfirst state exam. During her time as a research intern (Forschungsmodul der Vorklinik LMU) in the group of Prof. Merrow at the Institute for Medical Psychology in Munich, she developed a keen interest in experimental research. She has joined the Konrad group to pursue her doctoral thesis in medicine where she investigates the occurrence of drug resistances in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer with the aim to find new therapeutic targets. In her free time she likes rock climbing in the Bavarian alps.
