Mechthild grew up on the bavarian countryside, but moved to Munich for her studies. She has been interested in Chemistry and Biology since very early on and took part in the International Chemistry Olympics during high school. Currently, she is studying Chemistry and Biochemistry at LMU and joined the Konrad group for her Bachelor's thesis in Biochemistry. In her free time, she enjoys playing the Tenorhorn and is active in the Alpine Club.
